Senior Director of the Institute for Child and Family Well-being
Epworth Children’s Home is looking for a Senior Director in Columbia, SC. In cooperation with Epworth’s COO, ensure the work and mission of Epworth’s Institute for Child and Family Well-being is performed according to the adopted policies, procedures and by-laws in order to secure the unified progression of every Center toward the organizational strategic plan. Ensure the continuous positive advancement of Epworth publicly and programatically through the development and maintenance of healthy relationships with staff, volunteers, churches and community leaders. Oversee and assure overall compliance with all Centers under the Institute, to include drafting grant compliance documents, or causing these documents to be drafted. Supervise Directors of Centers under the umbrella of the Institute and Administrative Support. QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed within the state of South Carolina including a LISW, LPC or a LMFT. Master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a child welfare/non-profit setting. REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must be proficient with various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic communication. Know or have the ability to quickly learn any database system required. Must be able to pass standard background checks, including: drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry.
