Job Description
The Director of Operations is essential to the management of our clinical staff and care center operations. Assure state and federal regulatory compliance applicable to home health and reimbursement issues. Educate all staff members about state and federal rules and regulations. Act as a liaison between staff, patients, physicians, and other health care providers. Monitor clinical episode management and provide direction or redirection as necessary. Collaborate with the medical community to promote home care services. Recruit, hire, orient, assign, evaluate, and guide staff to meet agency and patient needs. Ensure delivery of quality care, support business development, and improve agency efficiency and fiscal success. Minimum Requirements
Current and unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the assigned state, with at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health, hospice, or related health programs. Possession of Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) documentation, allowing practice across multiple states as per each state's regulations. Minimum of three years of nursing experience, including at least one year of direct patient care in home health. Two years of home health experience preferred. Knowledge of federal, state, local, and ACHC regulations. Valid driver’s license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation. Current CPR certification. Qualifications
