Investment Banking Managing Director
About the Position
Seeking an exceptional candidate to join the firm as Managing Director to build and grow its services practice.
The candidate will be a strategic thinker and leader who is collaborative and team-oriented to implement the company’s vision, mission, and long-term goals.
The candidate should have a deep understanding of investment banking and be responsible for deal origination, managing deals from start to completion. Core competencies in equity research and financial modeling are essential.
Specific Responsibilities Include
Develop and execute business strategies
Focus on deal origination: market to new potential clients, participate in networking events, and other outreach activities
Provide fundamental analysis and investment research in specific sub-segments, emphasizing original, bottom-up research and developing a top-down approach to evaluate client potential
Analyze individual companies to build and update fully integrated financial and valuation models
Write research reports and present findings
Interact with clients, investors, and buyers
Respond to client and internal inquiries regarding ongoing deal management
Skills & Experience Required
Graduate degree (CFA, CPA, MBA)
At least 10 years of industry experience or related professional roles including business development, management roles, equity research, management consulting, private equity, market research, or investment banking
Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance measures
Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information and build relationships
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a commitment to high-quality work as a self-starter
Intellectual curiosity and dedication to providing top-tier products to clients
Growth mindset and teamwork orientation
