Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Post‑Partum RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct patient care to post‑partum patients in a family‑centered approach. You will provide multidisciplinary obstetrical care to low and high risk post‑partum patients and normal newborns. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares the patient for discharge. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
Responsibilities
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay
Job Requirements
Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation
BLS‑AHA provider issued card required within 30 days of start
1 year of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred
BSN is preferred
Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
