Responsible for providing assistance and support for clinical staff in the Operating Room. Serves as the central point of contact for OR Clinical Staff, SPD, and General Stores. Assists with location and transport of case carts. Troubleshoots instrument problems. Able to recommend alternatives when desired instrumentation is unavailable. Facilitates the instrument fast turn-over process. Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments in the Operating Room following recommended guidelines and provides accurate documentation for this process. Assists O.R.
