About The Role Global Life Sciences Business Developer
– a hands‑on commercial role focused on opportunity generation and early‑stage engagement within the Pharma and MedTech sectors. You will work closely with senior sales, pre‑sales engineering, and data partner teams, and receive exposure to complex enterprise deals with a clear career path to full ownership of account strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new commercial opportunities with Life Sciences companies (pharma, biotech, medtech).
Research target accounts and stakeholders across RWE, HEOR, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Digital teams.
Run outbound and inbound qualification, including discovery calls and early technical positioning.
Help translate sponsor evidence needs into concrete use cases.
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, qualification notes, and forecasting inputs.
Qualifications & Skills
3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within Life Sciences.
Familiarity with how pharmaceutical and medtech organizations buy evidence and data solutions.
Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships with mid‑level and senior stakeholders.
Structured and disciplined approach to pipeline development and CRM hygiene.
Ability to learn and explain technical and regulatory concepts at a high level.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Curiosity, resilience, and willingness to operate in a long sales‑cycle environment.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Success Metrics
A consistently growing, well‑qualified Life Sciences pipeline.
Increasing confidence and fluency in positioning Promptly’s platform and network.
Positive feedback from prospects on clarity and credibility.
