You are invited to apply for an exciting Insurance Sales Specialist role at UHCU Insurance Services, LLC. In this position you will develop new insurance agency business while delivering outstanding service to our existing members and clients. The role offers highly incentivized, uncapped earnings to a goal‑oriented professional who excels at building rapport with members, matching their needs with suitable solutions, and working with multiple independent carriers across Texas policy coverages.

Responsibilities

Prospect, develop, solicit, and follow up on referrals and leads generated from market development via phone.

Develop and manage an active pipeline of qualified prospects using the agency’s CRM system.

Maximize and maintain insurance portfolio growth.

Collaborate with UHCU staff as needed to close inbound sales from generated leads.

Develop rapport with clients through superior service and product knowledge.

Generate leads from personal contacts, internal referrals, cold calling, and client referrals.

Respond to prospects/clients with quotes for solicited business within 24 hours of application.

Provide rate quotes and coverage information tailored to each client’s needs.

Apply product, industry, and market knowledge to make professional recommendations to prospects and policyholders.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service daily.

Network and build relationships effectively.

Possess energy, self‑motivation, and a strong desire for success with a willingness to learn.

Manage a high lead volume in a fast‑paced environment.

Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrate high organizational ability.

Have a minimum of one year’s experience in Property, Casualty, Auto, Home, and/or Life insurance sales with a proven track record of meeting sales goals/quotas.

Have a minimum of one year of demonstrated experience with CRM systems.

Hold a valid Property & Casualty License in Texas within the first 30 days of employment.

Preferably hold a life and health insurance license in Texas.

Prior financial‑institution experience is advantageous.

Experience with EZLynx and independent carrier websites (e.g., Progressive, Travelers, Nationwide, Liberty Mutual) is preferred.

Being bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 1 year’s experience in Property, Casualty, Auto, Home, and/or Life insurance sales meeting sales goals.

Minimum 1 year’s CRM experience.

Property & Casualty license in Texas obtained within 30 days of hire.

Preferred life/health license in Texas.

Preferred prior financial‑institution experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

2+ years of clerical, customer‑service, and/or sales experience.

1 year of sales experience in a financial institution or independent insurance agency.

Experience with Symitar and EZLynx.

Bilingual in Spanish.
