Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients
Conduct patient evaluations and assessments, including range of motion, strength, and functional mobility tests
Implement treatment interventions, such as exercise programs, therapeutic activities, and modalities, under the supervision of a physical therapist
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment
