About the Project
We are developing a 1.8 MTPA Direct Reduction Iron (DRI) plant in the USA to strengthen domestic supply chains of low‑carbon metallics for the U.S. steel industry. This facility will be powered by natural gas with provisions for future hydrogen integration, underscoring our commitment to green steel and decarbonization.
Role Overview The Senior Advisor – Modularization (DRI) will lead efforts to optimize engineering designs for modular construction by coordinating modular strategies, transport logistics, constructability reviews, and interface management between modules and site‑built systems. In addition, this role will ensure the safe, efficient, and cost‑effective deployment of modular components in alignment with overall project timelines.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to agreed schedule of deliverables.
Anticipate, flag and make mitigation plans in advance in case of schedule deviations.
Contribute towards effective and timely resolution of technical challenges arising during the course of engineering.
Develop and review modularization strategy and identify systems for offsite modularization involving structures, equipment, piping, and electrical.
Coordinate modular layout, interface points, transportation dimensions, and lifting plans.
Validate design for shipping envelopes, structural stability, and connection points.
Collaborate with structural, piping, and electrical teams to align inter‑discipline integration.
Review 3D models and modular shop drawings.
Address challenges in logistics, sequencing, and site integration.
Address site queries, technical deviations, and NCRs during engineering and construction phases.
Work on optimization of Engg efforts and quantities.
KPI's – Quality of Engg, on time deliverables and optimization of quantities.
Skills and Qualifications
15+ years of experience in modular design and implementation for heavy industries.
Expertise in modular fabrication, transport, lifting, and assembly techniques.
Proficiency in 3D modeling tools (Navisworks, SmartPlant 3D).
Experience in managing vendors and modular yards.
Education
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, structural, or industrial engineering.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in both mining and plant environments, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.
Compensation: $125,000 – $185,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Paid Time Off (PTO) :
0–5 Years: 120 hours per year.
