You will be an instrumental team member in building and implementing a new end‑to‑end solution for Kline’s most integral data product, Kline Pro.
Here is a little more about the role. The role will be varied, solving new problems from:
Managing big data from multiple sources using API procedures
Implementing purpose‑fit database schemas in Kline’s cloud‑based architecture
Creating stored procedures in SQL and Databricks that execute advanced analytic and database cleaning functions
Building effective, automated data pipelines that process huge amounts of data
Designing live, interactive software product architecture using the Angular framework
Day‑to‑Day activities and goals
Develop and maintain SQL (and NoSQL) databases in Azure, including schema design, stored procedures, and data integrity
Automate ETL processes with Azure tools
Clean and test data, preparing it for analysis in Azure Databricks and other software products
Work with in‑house and third‑party data providers to build rich data sources
Scripting programming code for live software products, both from a functional and design angle
Design fit‑for‑purpose data architecture that enables effective data processing and seamless analysis
Collaborate with the data science team to develop advanced analytical algorithms
Facilitate client queries and data requests with the Kline Pro product owner
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience developing and supporting stored procedures
Minimum 5 years with Azure SQL databases
Minimum 5 years scripting functional or procedural programming
Minimum 5 years using data science coding languages such as Python or R
Minimum 2 years working with Microsoft Azure or other full‑stack technology
Minimum 2 years working with Microsoft Databricks or other technology
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
5–10 years of similar job experience; a degree in computing, mathematics, or a science‑based subject preferred
Additional Skills
SSIS, SSAS, multidimensional cubes, DAX or MDX
Power BI, Azure Data Factory or Azure Analysis Services
Experience in API development
