What You’ll Do As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting the Graham, Kentucky team with the preparation for the TNT plant, ensuring workforce readiness, community engagement, talent pipeline development, and smooth internal transitions. This role will help shape the culture of the TNT plant from the ground up. Other duties include:
Proactive Workforce Pipeline for the TNT Plant
Build Talent Awareness in the Community: Conduct sustained outreach to position Dyno Nobel as an employer of choice in Graham, KY.
Partner with Local Institutions: Establish partnerships with trade schools, technical colleges, community organizations, and workforce boards.
Ensure Skill-Ready New Hires: Collaborate with education partners to shape pre-hire training aligned with TNT plant requirements.
Partner with operation leaders on developing training content for new roles
Create a structured internal transfer approach including caps to ensure minimal upset to existing operations
Maintain organizational charts, ensure HR alignment with project milestones
Reinforcing Dyno Nobel’s safety, reliability, and performance principles
Ensure consistent communication, reduce misinformation, and ensure clarity on hiring, transfers, and staffing plans.
Routine HR needs such as employee relations, scheduling, engagement and HR documentation
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor degree in HR, Business Management or related field
Masters Degree or HR Certification desired
5+ years Human Resource Generalist or Human Resources Business Partner related work
Explosives or Manufacturing Industry experience helpful but not required
Extensive knowledge of Labor and Employment regulations
Ability to travel up to 50% depending on projects
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
