Job Summary The

Digital Platform Leader

is responsible for owning, scaling, and evolving the enterprise digital platform ecosystem that enables business transformation, automation, and AI‑driven capabilities across the company. This role has end‑to‑end accountability for core digital platforms including (but not limited to) low‑code, integration, API, and developer platforms that accelerate process reimagination, speed of delivery, and innovation at scale.

The Digital Platform Leader partners closely with business leaders, transformation teams, data & AI teams, architecture, and engineering to ensure platforms are secure, scalable, reusable, and aligned with enterprise strategy.

This position will report directly to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and will play a critical role in shaping the company’s digital, data, and AI foundation.

This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Westerville, OH - HQ location.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Transformation Leadership

Define and execute the enterprise digital platforms strategy aligned with business and transformation priorities.

Own the roadmap, standards, and lifecycle management for core digital platforms, including (but not limited to):

Integration & Automation platforms (e.g., Workato)

Low‑code / no‑code platforms (e.g., Mendix)

Developer & AI‑assisted engineering platforms (e.g., Cursor)

Modern API and integration platforms (API management, event‑driven architectures, microservices)

Partner with business and transformation leaders to translate strategic objectives into reusable platform capabilities and services.

Platform and Architecture Enablement

Lead the design and evolution of scalable, resilient, and secure digital platforms across application, integration, and API layers.

Establish platform architecture principles, guardrails, and patterns to ensure consistency, reusability, and speed.

Ensure platforms are aligned with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards while enabling flexibility and rapid innovation.

Execution, Governance & Value Realization

Lead cross‑functional platform delivery and engineering teams with disciplined execution and accountability.

Establish governance models for platform investment, prioritization, citizen development, and reuse.

Define and track KPIs related to platform adoption, velocity, reliability, cost efficiency, and business value realization.

Requirements

12 plus years of experience in digital platforms, enterprise systems, integration, or digital transformation roles.

Hands‑on experience with integration platforms (e.g., Workato), low‑code platforms (e.g., Mendix), and modern API architectures.

Strong understanding of cloud‑native, API‑first, and event‑driven architectures.

Proven experience leading large‑scale, cross‑functional platform initiatives.

Strong program leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred:

Experience in manufacturing, industrial, and high‑growth environment.

Exposure to AI‑enabled development tools, developer productivity platforms, and agentic architectures.

Experience operating platforms in global, multi‑site, multi‑region organizations.
