Senior Clinical Director of the Men’s Residential, HWH and Detox You are invited to join Straight and Narrow, headquartered in Paterson, NJ, the largest program of its kind, offering innovative and compassionate services to individuals struggling with substance use and co‑occurring disorders. This role may involve deployment to any Straight and Narrow program location based on agency needs.

General Summary Ensure all Detox/HWH and Men’s Residential Programs remain consistent with Straight & Narrow’s Philosophy of Treatment and that the Continuous Quality Improvement program operates effectively for the benefit of the organization, its employees, and clients. In this capacity, you will maintain overall functioning of the Programs, plan long‑term strategy for Detox/HWH and Men’s Residential, and ensure the provision of quality treatment and care for residential and outpatient clients in accordance with accrediting, regulating, and licensing bodies, Catholic Charities Straight & Narrow’s mission, vision, values, and philosophy of treatment. The position has on‑call responsibilities.

Qualifications

New Jersey licensed psychologist with at least five years of experience in addiction services, two of those years in a supervisory capacity, and a Certification of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders from the APA or a Certified Clinical Supervisor by the APCBNJ.

New Jersey licensed clinical social worker with at least five years of experience in addiction services, two of those years in a supervisory capacity, and a certified clinical supervisor by the APCBNJ.

New Jersey licensed professional counselor, or licensed marriage and family therapist, with at least five years of experience in addiction services, two of those years in a supervisory capacity, and a certified clinical supervisor by the APCBNJ.

New Jersey LCADC with at least five years of experience in addiction services, two of those years in a supervisory capacity, and holding a clinical master’s degree recognized by the State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners.

New Jersey licensed physician certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine or Board‑certified psychiatrist, and with at least two years of supervisory experience in addiction services.

New Jersey licensed advanced practice nurse with at least five years of experience in addiction services, two of those years in a supervisory capacity, and a clinical supervisor certified by the APCBNJ.

Doctoral degree in human services, mental health, or social work with at least two years of supervisory experience.

Incumbents with a master’s degree in counseling or social work who do not yet meet the above qualifications must obtain LCADC status or another health professional license that includes diagnostic and supervisory authority by July 15, 2016.
