Join us at Grand Canyon Education and begin your career helping Grand Canyon University students succeed! We’re looking for a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Phoenix, AZ territory in this unique community‑based opportunity.
Starting salary is $75,000 per year with an earning potential of a six‑figure income after five years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.
Must live in or near Yuma, AZ. New hire training will be held in‑person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.

Typical Responsibilities
Strategy and execution: Identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory to build awareness of our online programs for education, healthcare and business, and drive inquiry generation.
Partner and influencer: Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners through in‑person, phone or email, championing the GCE mission.
Heart and hustle: Work from home with ambitious targets, supporting prospective students through the admissions process and guiding them toward a successful online learning experience.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree preferred.
Outstanding time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize competing priorities.
Clear communication skills: comfortable communicating in person, in writing and on the phone, with strong listening skills.
Self‑motivation and drive to succeed; takes ownership.
High emotional intelligence and empathy.
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a flexible schedule; extensive travel within the territory.
Computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience working with CRM tools.
