The Vice President, Growth and Development is a strategic leader responsible for driving the success of our Jordan Creek branch, located in West Des Moines, IA. This role proactively manages relationships with financial professionals (FPs) and clients. The VP will develop and execute actionable plans to support branch growth, with a primary focus on helping financial professionals expand their practices through business growth strategies, coaching, and consulting. Additional responsibilities include enhancing sales and product knowledge within the branch, as well as recruiting, developing, and retaining top financial professionals. Serving as a trusted partner, this leader will foster a culture of growth, collaboration, and client service excellence within the Jordan Creek office and affiliated banks.# **Key Deliverables and Responsibilities*** Develop and deliver actionable plans on organic revenue growth, platform adoption and product diversification in order to meet enterprise goals and to create an exceptional advisor experience* Develop new recruiting leads through proactive outgoing solicitations, identifying cross-sell opportunities for current relationships through proper customer profiling and needs-based selling* Retain advisor relationships demonstrating how their businesses will benefit from the relationship with the firm; interfacing with team members and other departments to meet client needs* Be a trusted resource for advisors with regards to business strategy, industry changes, and branch office growth including, but not limited to, planning regular visits to advisors in offices to strengthen the relationship with the firm, and providing training sessions as appropriate* Oversee high level problem resolution to provide mutually beneficial solutions to challenging situations* Interface internally and externally in a professional and courteous manner to act as an advocate for the advisor and to achieve performance objectives* Develop and implement advisor-centric strategic initiatives regarding company and departmental policies and procedures in order to correct gaps and deliver exceptional advisor experiences* Oversee the Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ) Designees by reviewing escalated Direct Report correspondence, securities activities, FINRA/Insurance licensing, Outside Business Activity (OBA) reports, daily trade blotters, and any other reports to ensure supervisory review of Direct Reports in assigned regions* Maintain an understanding of the Enterprise’s revenue and profitability targets and firm level goals, comprehensive knowledge of key industry topics, internal programs, departmental procedures, regulatory requirements and firm policy* Collaborate with Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ) Designees and advisors with communicating new policies and procedures, sharing information about Cambridge and providing input in order to strengthen relationships with advisor offices* Supervise personal securities activities of OSJ Supervisor Designees and serve as an escalation contact for OSJ Supervisor Designees and advisors.* Drive overall branch effectiveness and Financial Professional retention by monitoring associate morale and work quality, recruiting staff as .* Develop and direct strategic initiatives regarding company and departmental policies and procedures in order to improve service standards for internal and external customers* Participate in business planning, resource allocation, and budgeting related to areas of responsibility* Maintain accurate records and document actions for areas managed including associates and advisors# **What We Are Looking For**The ideal candidate brings advanced experience in growth, development, consulting, and recruiting within the financial services industry, with a proven track record of growing financial professionals’ businesses. The candidate demonstrates the ability to develop and execute actionable business development strategies, recruit and retain top talent, and foster strong relationships and collaboration among financial professionals, clients, and internal teams.**Certifications:*** Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses are required.
