Our client is a leading provider of advanced filtration media designed to outperform traditional granular activated carbon (GAC) and resin-based solutions. Their proprietary technology delivers superior performance at a lower cost, making it the go-to choice for industrial water treatment applications.

They’re in need of a Vice President of Sales who will serve as the senior commercial leader responsible for building, managing, and scaling our client’s sales organization. You will design and execute the company’s go-to-market strategy, oversee all revenue-generating activities, and ensure consistent quarterly and annual sales performance.

Drawing from your experience in water treatment, industrial sales, or adjacent technical markets—and leveraging strong industry relationships—you will lead continued expansion into customer segments currently relying on GAC, resin, and other incumbent treatment technologies. You will collaborate closely with our client’s technical leadership, including the National Sales Applications Engineer and Chief Scientist, to ensure a seamless combination of commercial excellence and technical capability.

Key Responsibilities Revenue & Growth Leadership

Own national revenue targets, ensuring strong KPI alignment and achievement across the sales organization.

Build and execute scalable sales strategies to drive year-over-year growth in all target verticals.

Identify and develop new commercial opportunities by engaging prospective customers currently utilizing GAC or resin systems.

Expand their footprint through strong relationship building, strategic account development, and high-velocity pipeline generation.

Use data-driven management to diagnose funnel performance, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and optimize team effectiveness.

Team Development & Management

Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, including regional sales leaders and business development staff.

Establish sales processes, enablement programs, compensation plans, and performance management frameworks.

Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer excellence.

Strategic Commercial Execution

Refine and expand their commercial go-to-market model, including territory planning, channel strategy, pricing frameworks, and market prioritization.

Contribute to strategic growth initiatives, partnership development, and commercial go/no-go evaluations.

Work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Science teams to support pilot tests, technical evaluations, and customer demonstrations.

Sales Operations & Reporting

Deliver accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility, activity reporting, and revenue projections to support corporate planning.

Oversee CRM management to ensure high-quality data and visibility across all commercial activities.

Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral, customer-facing materials, and market-specific campaigns.

Compensation is base salary of $150k-$200k or commensurate of experience, plus bonus and full benefits.
