About the Role
The Company is in search of a Market President to spearhead local market growth and reinforce a member-first culture. The successful candidate will be the face of the credit union in a designated geographic region, leading market strategy, business development, and community engagement. This role is pivotal for a strategic, relationship-driven leader who excels at building local partnerships, promoting brand visibility, and driving member growth. As a key member of the leadership team, the Market President will be responsible for executing the company's strategic goals at a market level, collaborating with various teams to ensure growth aligns with the company's mission and values, and leading a high-performing team that reflects the community it serves.
Candidates for the Market President position should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in the financial services industry, with a proven track record in market or regional leadership, business development, and community engagement. A strong understanding of retail banking and strategic execution is essential, and prior experience in a credit union is a plus. The role requires a leader who can build and lead a team focused on service excellence, community impact, and financial performance, and who can lead with authenticity, communicate effectively, and build trust across all levels. The Market President will also be expected to travel within the assigned market and maintain a frequent in-market presence to nurture community relationships and ensure the alignment of strategy and execution.
