About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of PK-16 Curriculum Design to oversee the development and implementation of a district-wide Tier 1 curriculum, instructional framework, and assessment strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the curriculum is intentional, targeted, and on grade level for students in core content areas. This role involves managing key structures and functions of the Tier 1 curricular system, providing data analysis, feedback, coaching, and professional learning support to effectively implement systems that support grade-level content. The Executive Director will also work closely with regional and school leaders to enhance the instructional service delivery system and increase student achievement across all groups.
Applicants must have a Master's degree, a valid Texas Teacher Certificate with required endorsements, and a Texas Standard Principal Certificate or Mid-Management Certificate. A minimum of 10 years of directly related experience is required, along with advanced knowledge of management principles, instructional theory, K-12 curricula, and the operations of a large public school district. The role demands the ability to understand school building operations, demonstrate exceptional character and social capability, and effectively communicate with a diverse community. The Executive Director will be expected to write technical reports, plan documents, and work with all levels of management to ensure compliance with educational policies and to meet the district's academic goals.
