As the Account Manager II on the Commercial Lines team, support the Producer by servicing larger and/or more complex clients and serve as a resource/mentor to colleagues. Maintain knowledge of coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, legislative changes, and relationships with clients and carrier representatives. Exercise independent decisions related to client analysis of coverage, recommend coverage needs, and suggest new lines of coverage for existing clients where appropriate. Develop strong relationships with carriers and market accounts as requested by the Producer and/or Marketing Account Executive. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training Five years of relevant insurance industry experience Property and casualty insurance license Strong client-relations skills, with excellent communication, service orientation, cooperation, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems Leadership ability to provide direction, feedback, development and training while motivating others to maximize productivity Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Ability to travel, occasionally overnight Additional qualifications (a plus)
Advanced degree Certification or designation Experience with Requests for Proposal Benefits
