Job Title: Account Manager, Commercial Lines
Job Schedule: Hybrid from an office located in the West Division
Requirements:
Active Property & Casualty License Required.
Strong organizational skills, ability to discern priority and initiative.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills.
Mathematical skills to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Reasoning skills to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
Applied Systems / EPIC experience is a plus.
Knowledge of insurance principles applied to everyday situations.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma required; Associate Degree or higher preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines.
CPCU or related training is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Service accounts, including quoting, issuing policies, endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, and correspondence.
Respond to client inquiries and company requests promptly.
Assist with insurance marketing and sales.
Collect renewal data and support claims processes.
Develop coverage strategies and review policies for accuracy.
Maintain client data accuracy in agency management systems.
Assist other departments with issuing appropriate policies.
Keep producers informed of account activities and potential issues.
Participate in industry seminars and ongoing education.
Maintain current knowledge of underwriting requirements and policy provisions.
Perform additional duties as assigned, including backup roles.
