Gates Hudson . Overview Gates Hudson, a full-service property management company, is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join a residential property in our portfolio. If you are energetic, detail-oriented, and customer service-focused, please submit your resume for review. Responsibilities Welcome and tour prospects, qualify, determine wants and needs, professionally present community and specific apartments/condominiums while providing features and benefits. Proactively manage leads, document tours, and complete all leasing paperwork. Ensure all common areas, outdoor facilities, landscaping, laundry, parking, etc., are in perfect condition. Walk rent-readies and check on vacant units to ensure availability of rent-ready units and mini models. Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends. Contribute ideas for marketing and resident satisfaction. Answer incoming calls, whether from prospects or residents, and handle accordingly. Maintain a positive customer service attitude and promote goodwill among prospects, residents, coworkers, and contractors. Address resident concerns and requests promptly to ensure satisfaction. Manage resident inquiries about community, repairs, rent, rules, etc. Ensure maintenance repairs are handled satisfactorily by contacting residents with Service Requests weekly. Review notices to vacate, determine causes, and attempt to retain residents when possible. Conduct periodic inspections during move-in/move-out. Assist in planning and hosting resident functions as directed by the Property Manager. Implement community policies consistently. Maintain a professional, friendly atmosphere in leasing offices and meeting areas. Note: Most prospects search for housing on weekends; working weekends is expected. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of leasing experience preferred. Customer service, leasing, or sales experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to quickly build rapport with prospects. Motivated self-starter with teamwork and goal-setting abilities. Seniority level
