to join our growing team in
Sarasota, Florida . As Sarasota's largest and oldest homegrown law firm, we help clients realize their visions for their businesses and families through a variety of specialties. Our Real Estate practice group is looking for a motivated attorney with relevant experience. Whether you are already licensed to practice law in Florida or planning to relocate and sit for The Florida Bar exam in the near future, we encourage you to apply.
Our real estate practice group includes board-certified specialists with experience in a variety disciplines, including commercial and residential real estate transactions, condominium and subdivision development, land use, banking and finance, title insurance, and construction litigation and contracting. Our attorneys work together as a team to provide clients with expert guidance in all phases of their transactions and regardless of the level of complexity. Requirements
Education: Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Licensure: Member of The Florida Bar or licensed to practice law in another state and in good standing. Willingness to sit for the Florida Bar exam in the near future is required if not already admitted
Experience: 1-5 years of experience practicing law, ideally with exposure to real estate matters. Comprehensive training through mentorship and hands-on experience alongside some of the best professionals in the field will accelerate knowledge and skill development
Client Service & Relationship Building: Brings a service-oriented mindset to understanding client needs and delivering a positive, responsive experience. Maintains professionalism and confidentiality while building trust with clients and stakeholders
Communication & Collaboration: Communicates legal concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Builds strong relationships with colleagues and clients to support successful outcomes
Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Demonstrates adaptability in navigating the evolving nature of real estate law, proactively identifies and resolves issues, and applies analytical thinking to complex legal documents and transactions
Business Development & Initiative: Shows enthusiasm, initiative, and reliability. Gains knowledge through mentorship and hands-on experience and contributes to the firm's growth regardless of whether a portable book of business is present
Leadership & Time Management: Works independently under tight timelines, manages multiple tasks and transactions simultaneously, and maintains accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
