We're looking for a qualified, detail-oriented, driven account manager to join our Adams Insurance Advisors team.
Highly skilled in customer service, both in person and over the telephone, is necessary for success in this position. The ability to work closely with a team as well as independently is a must.
Job Description The Account Manager at Adams Insurance Advisors is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the production staff of the insurance agency.
Responsibilities
Oversee the production staff of the agency in goal setting and sales training.
Actively partner, network, and plan for new producers, clients, and business opportunities.
Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved, and execute sales activity documentation in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise, answer questions, and participate in meetings as needed.
Interface with representatives of insurance companies and underwriters to know market availability.
Coordinate marketing efforts with Marketing Coordinator.
Quote premiums on potential new policies when necessary.
Qualifications
Hold the insurance license required by your state and have at least two years of personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience, along with a Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience.
Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
People-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients.
Excellent organizational skills, sound business judgment, decision-making abilities, and superior communication skills.
Proficient in time management, teamwork, and agency management systems.
Salary: $18.00 - $27.50 per hour
