Appraiser - Commercial Real Estate
Responsibilities:
Prepare independent appraisal reports on complex properties, collaborating with senior staff and reviewing reports.
Conduct comprehensive appraisals to establish market value of commercial properties.
Make independent judgments in developing appraisals for complex properties.
Inspect properties and engage directly with clients.
Complete review responses under guidance from senior staff.
Stay updated on government regulations, zoning laws, and appraisal standards.
Utilize necessary software and data sources relevant to appraisal work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in real estate, economics, finance, or related fields; MS or MBA preferred.
State Certified General Appraiser License.
3-6 years of professional experience in commercial real estate appraisal.
Proficiency in writing appraisal reports and reviews of complex properties.
Understanding of valuation concepts, real estate terminology, and property tax processes.
Knowledge of Argus software required.
Strong analytical, writing, communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
