Position Summary:
The Commercial Lines Account Manager Specialist provides prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients, producers, and company personnel, supporting the acquisition, maintenance, expansion, and servicing of commercial accounts. They also support management and other account managers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Essential Tasks:
Designs and implements insurance programs aligned with agency guidelines.
Stays updated on carrier developments and laws, advising clients on coverage and exposures.
Supports producers technically and administratively, including proposals and applications.
Prepares insurance summaries and proposals for review.
Handles renewals, remarkets, and follows up with clients and carriers.
Educates clients on audit procedures and manages workflow efficiently.
Represents the agency in resolving client and carrier issues, fostering positive relationships.
Seeks referrals and participates in the audit process.
Provides leadership and mentorship to the account management team.
Participates in special projects as directed.

Experience & Education:
Minimum 8+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance experience.
Licensing & Credentials:
Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required.
Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or equivalent preferred.
Systems:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Applied Epic or similar AMS experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Visual, auditory, speech, and manual dexterity requirements for communication and document handling.
