Job Description
The Leasing Specialist is responsible for the leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations of multi-family residential apartments. Under the daily direction of the Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager, the Leasing Specialist may be asked to perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: Leasing: Greet prospects, qualify, and record all telephone and in-person visits. Administrative: Accept rental payments, provide receipts, and maintain current resident files. Resident Retention: Receive resident requests, concerns, and comments, and ensure all maintenance repairs are handled satisfactorily. Neighborhood Marketing: Participate in outreach marketing activities and advise residents of referral concessions. Safety Responsibilities: Learn and ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years’ apartment management experience LIHTC experience - Previous tax credit experience and deep knowledge of tax credit program Experience with District of Columbia laws and regulations required High energy, assertive, and creative individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills ResidentialONE is an equal opportunity employer.
