Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Commercialization, the Sr. Manager, Product Commercialization, leads the entire commercialization process for product renovations, innovations, and quality and cost improvements. The role involves working closely with Culinary Innovation, QA, Food Safety, Operations, suppliers, and external supply chains to develop commercialization strategies, define product specifications, and ensure consistent taste and quality across the BK supplier network.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end commercialization processes for innovation, renovation, and specification management.

Develop, test, and evaluate new ingredients, ensuring accurate documentation of product specifications.

Source and onboard new suppliers into the BK system.

Manage processes related to RFP and specification requests in collaboration with third-party supply chain partners.

Oversee RFP execution and product matching to support supplier diversity and pricing strategies.

Handle legal onboarding and MTC requirements.

Support successful launch of new or innovative products in a dynamic environment.

Collaborate with manufacturing plants to ensure scale-up and production match standard samples.

Participate in ingredient evaluations at laboratories, confirming all parameters meet specifications.

Communicate complex technical information clearly and transparently across departments.

Troubleshoot and resolve project challenges with cross-functional team support.

Continuously evaluate and improve work processes related to product commercialization, approval, and quality assurance.

Lead and develop a team of 1-3 employees or work independently based on business needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Technology or related field.

5-7 years of experience in food service, manufacturing, or related areas.

Strong organizational skills.

Knowledge of USDA and FDA regulations related to food standards and labeling.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Understanding of procedures, requirements, and policies related to product commercialization.
