FBC Mortgage is hiring experienced Mortgage Loan Originators at our Owensboro, KY branch!
Job Responsibilities Successful Mortgage Loan Originators will proactively develop and maintain a network of business relationships, including realtors, builders, and personal contacts, to generate referral opportunities. They will participate in community and professional activities to promote homeownership, interview clients to assess financial needs, advise on suitable products, and guide borrowers through the loan process. Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with industry regulations is essential, alongside meeting sales goals.
3+ years of retail residential mortgage origination experience Documented mortgage loans closed volume of $750,000 – $1 million per month in the past 12 months Established relationships with local referral networks Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in Conventional, FHA, and VA loan guidelines Strong PC skills and familiarity with technology Must meet SAFE Act requirements, including background checks and active NMLS licensure What We Offer
