Providing protection for various protectees. Conducting criminal investigations pertaining to financial obligations of the United States. Planning and implementing security designs for National Special Security Events. Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required Possess a current valid driver’s license Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is mandatory. Be at least age 21 at the time of application and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have prior federal service with special provisions. Veteran’s preference applicants must receive a conditional offer prior to age 40 to continue. Must obtain a Top Secret Clearance and retain it during your career. Uncorrected visual acuity no worse than 20/100 binocular; corrected 20/20 or better in each eye. Hearing must not exceed 25 decibels in either ear (500, 1000, 2000 Hz). Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing while employed. Complete 13 weeks of training at FLETC and 18 weeks of training at the James J. Rowley Training Center. Sign a mobility agreement to accept assignments anywhere in the U.S. and overseas. Register with the Selective Service System or be exempt if male and born after 1959. Seniority level
