The IT Consultant II will serve as a Techno-Functional Consultant specializing in Blue Yonder – Enterprise Supply Planning (BY-ESP). This role will support both the development and operational aspects of supply chain planning systems, working directly with business users and cross-functional IT teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a Techno-Functional consultant for the BY-ESP (Enterprise Supply Planning) module
Partner with business stakeholders to gather and analyze Supply Chain Planning requirements
Create and maintain Functional Specifications and Technical Specifications based on business needs
Design and execute comprehensive test plans including Unit, Integration, UAT, and Regression testing
Investigate existing customizations for opportunities to optimize and simplify the ecosystem
Proactively troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve system issues with a focus on root cause analysis
Engage in custom development activities, ensuring alignment with functional/technical specs
Manage deployment activities, including testing, user training, business sign-off, and go-live support
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Developers, DBAs, Middleware, and Infrastructure analysts
Write efficient PL/SQL code and Unix shell scripts to support system functionality and enhancements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of relevant IT experience Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder – ESP module including at least 1 full-cycle implementation Strong expertise in PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting Working knowledge of SAP ERP integration Solid understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes Strong communication skills and experience engaging business stakeholders and technical teams Preferred Qualifications
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of supply planning solutions Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies Ability to analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights
