Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN to lead our OB Hospitalist Program as a Medical Director . This leadership role provides the opportunity to oversee clinical operations, enhance patient care protocols, and guide a dedicated team in delivering exceptional obstetric care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of OB Hospitalists, ensuring quality standards and patient safety
- Develop and implement best practices for hospital-based obstetric care
- Collaborate with hospital administration, nursing staff, and private practice physicians
- Provide direct patient care, including emergency and unassigned obstetric and gynecological cases
- Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and program development
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and accreditation requirements
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an OB/GYN Hospitalist preferred
- Proven leadership experience in a hospital-based setting
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with hospital staff and private physicians
