Route Support Merchandiser – Continental

Responsibilities
Drive company vehicle over assigned route to merchandise store products and maintain market stores and vending machines.
Merchandise products according to store layouts; roll‑out promotions; gather and report customer feedback.
Maintain established inventory levels for all products sold (soft drinks, pre‑packaged food, sandwiches, salads, soups, wraps, fruits, vegetables, candy, pastry, snack items).
Count, record and follow ordering protocol for inventory; restock shelves, coolers and coffee; rotate product and record out‑of‑date or unsold merchandise.
Review inventory requirements for each point of sale, coordinate with warehouse to ensure product readiness, load and unload safely, and drive to points of sale.
Maintain open communication with management regarding product changes and scheduling.
Collect money from kiosks, follow cash handling and loss‑prevention protocols, record transactions, and report suspicious activity.
Ensure proper handling and refrigeration of perishable items during transit and stocking; maintain cooler temperatures.
Perform routine cleaning of coffee machines, microwaves, coolers, racks, shelves, tables, countertops, floors and windows at each point of sale.
Complete full inventory counts and submit monthly.
Inspect food quality, report stale products, review pick sheets, and conduct final walk‑throughs.
Complete additional projects and assignments as assigned.
Requirements
High‑School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to pass DOT.
Prior retail experience and familiarity with basic merchandising concepts strongly preferred.
Basic computer skills.
