PRODUCE CLERK (Cash Register Capable)
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain enthusiastic customer service and awareness.
Assist customers with product suggestions and respond to inquiries.
Stock, rotate, and organize produce inventory to ensure freshness and compliance.
Trim, cut, wrap, tray, display, and water produce items.
Build and maintain produce displays; discard outdated or spoiled products.
Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the produce area and equipment.
Follow department standards and company policies.
Perform receiving duties including verifying orders, inspecting quality, and stocking.
Maintain accurate department records and complete required paperwork.
Ensure proper temperature levels and labeling compliance, including Country of Origin Labeling (COOL).

Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, knives, scissors, and Sterilox machines
Educational Requirements
Food safety knowledge preferred
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel, including overnight travel, may be required
Other Requirements
Must comply with grooming and dress code standards
May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Good attendance is required
Exposure to refrigerated conditions (around 35°F)
