Executive Editor ( Hybrid )

Technology magazine and website seeks a top-notch Executive Editor to lead the editorial team, shape the editorial calendar, provide lead author and article acquisition, and manage editorial and production staff to produce the magazine on schedule, on budget, and on voice. In addition, the Executive Editor works closely with the ad sales team to develop new products, special print and online packages, and leads the charge of this growing revenue source. Strong editorial, sales, and online skills with experience in technology publishing. Especially helpful will be experience with the software development audience. Additional responsibilities include: PL responsibility, manage the annual budget Manage circulation team to maintain & grown high-quality subscriber base, oversight of the website with growing user- and revenue-base Manage Editorial Advisory Board This is a high-intensity role that requires experience, the ability to multitask, and an energetic, optimistic approach to running a first-rate publication.
