We are a small manufacturing firm that produces high quality products for mining and industry. We have 11 divisions in the US and Canada. This is a full-time position working at our Chattanooga, Tennessee division.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual with hopeful expertise in AutoCAD or SolidWorks software. The ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing environment working with equipment, tooling, and machinery. We’re looking for a technically minded individual that can work with shop personnel and customers. We’re seeking a self-starter, who can work independently.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and create detailed engineering drawings.
Develop 3D models for 3d printing and drawings, and tooling.
Design tooling for multiple products and processes.
Collaborate with others in the company and outside vendors to ensure product design specifications.
Assist in programming CNC machinery.
Prepare documentation, programming code, job paperwork, and other specifications for new and existing manufacturing processes.
Work with customers on sales of perforated metal products.
Qualifications: Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proven experience with CAD systems. Experience with Solidworks is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Familiarity with industrial machinery and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
