Medical Director

A reputable nationwide company providing healthcare services to nursing homes is looking to immediately hire a Board-certified Doctor to work as a Medical Director for a nursing home in Danbury, CT. A minimum of 2 years of experience in management and a state license are required. Compensation is very rewarding and covers directorship and Clinical Practice.

Functions of the job:

1. Directorship.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall care and clinical practice carried out at the facility.
• Applies clinical and administrative skills to guide the facility in providing care.
• Helps the facility develop and manage both quality and safety initiatives, including risk management.
• Provides information that helps others (including facility staff, practitioners, and those in the community) understand and provide care.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified preferably in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or other.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Management.
• Great team leadership skills.

Compensation:

• Directorship: Fixed-Monthly
• Clinical Practice: Based on the RVU-Biweekly/Monthly
• 4 weeks PTO
• Dental and Vision insurance

Medical specialties: Should be a Primary Care as one of the following:

• Internal Medicine
• Family Medicine
• Geriatric Medicine
