Overview
Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking an experienced Obstetrician to join an established team of OB Hospitalists in an On-Call/Per Diem capacity. In this role, you will work within a collaborative group of certified nurse midwives, family practice physicians, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists in providing quality, coordinated care to families. You will be responsible for OB triage for unassigned patients, providing back-up assistance to OB/GYN private practice colleagues, and for surgical assists. Providence Portland Medical Center is a Magnet-Designated Hospital, the highest credential for nursing facilities in the U.S. and around the world, located in the heart of NE Portland serving patients and families with diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- 12-hour shifts, combination of day and night (7 to 7)
- OB only; No call required
- On-Call/Per Diem position
- Minimum of 3 to 5-years post-graduate clinical experience as obstetrician; previous OB Hospitalist experience and/or Fellowship training required
- Join a team dedicated to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and providing culturally competent care
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years post-graduate obstetric clinical experience
- Previous OB Hospitalist experience and/or fellowship training
- Ability to work within a collaborative group of CNMs, FP physicians, and MFM specialists

The base pay range is listed; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
