Job Description

As a Senior Consultant at Kalypso, a Rockwell Automation Business, you will guide clients through their operational transformation journeys that leverage digital solutions, cybersecurity, networking, and cutting‑edge automation technology. You will help clients define strategies, implement solutions, and achieve sustainable results. Senior Consultants deliver key components of consulting engagements, drawing on industry expertise.

You will work with Managers and above to lead analyses, design client solutions, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders. You will report to the Principal at Kalypso and can work remotely from any location in the United States.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead portions of project workstreams.
  • Perform structured analyses, facilitate workshops, and develop client-ready deliverables.
  • Engage directly with client stakeholders to gather insights and communicate findings.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership, methodologies, and service offerings.
  • Support capability building within the team through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Help identify opportunities to expand engagements or build client value.

The Essentials – You Will Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (we will not sponsor visas).
  • Ability to travel as needed, potentially up to 50% of the time.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have

  • 5+ years of consulting or applicable industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, focusing on automation and controls.
  • Proven expertise with process control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI).
  • Deep understanding of MES and MOM frameworks.
  • Hands‑on experience with asset management and predictive/preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of OT data management, including data historians, edge computing, and integration with IT systems.
  • Experience leading or supporting automation projects from concept through commissioning.
  • Familiarity with ISA‑95 and ISA‑88 standards.
  • Experience working in regulated or high‑compliance environments (e.g., food and beverage, pharma, mining, or heavy industry).

Base Salary Compensation: $126,400 – $189,600, with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary.
