Finance Director - Global Entertainment Firm

The Mission: Executive Financial Leadership
This position is a chance to move beyond standard reporting and take full ownership of the financial framework. You will use your 8+ years of finance experience to drive strategy, manage a team, and ensure robust compliance.
Your High-Impact Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Lead the annual business plan development and budgeting process. Provide ongoing financial modeling and analysis to support long-term strategic initiatives and business partners.
- Accounting Ownership: Manage all aspects of accounting, including GL, payroll, revenue, purchases, and the month-end closing process.
- Reporting & Analysis: Develop and present monthly financial management reports, key metrics, and conduct necessary ad hoc financial analysis.
- Team Leadership: Supervise the accounting team of 2-3 staff, ensuring appropriate career building and professional development.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with finance and operations controls, and manage risk, insurance programs, and tax matters (CIT, sales/VAT) in collaboration with the corporate ownership structure and external legal counsel.
What We Are Searching For
We require a strategic leader with the technical depth and specific industry experience to immediately make an impact:
- Experience & Education: 8+ years of professional finance and accounting experience, including at least 2+ years in the entertainment or technology industry . Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Required Pedigree: Large accounting firm experience is required
- Certification: Possess a CPA, ACCA, or CMA designation.
- Industry Acumen: Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, production pipelines, platform fees, and revenue-sharing models is essential. (This generalizes the gaming-specific language.)
- Technical Stack: Proficient in financial modeling and tools such as Excel, ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, etc.), and BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
