RoleSummary:

MSHPseeksaMedicalDirector(MD),PhysicianEngagementandCDQI,whowill(1)beresponsiblefordrivingkeypopulationhealthgoalsincludingaccess,quality,utilizationandaccurateriskadjustmentwithagroupofpracticesand(2)closepartnershipwiththeCDQIDirectortodriveaccurateriskadjustmentthroughoutthesystem.ThisMedicalDirectormustbeeffectiveatinfluencingphysicians,medicaldirectorandotherkeypracticestafftodrivevaluebasedcaresuccess.He/shewillsupporttheestablishingandhardwiringprocessestodriveexcellenceinefficiencyofcare,qualityandaccurateriskadjustmentforallpopulationsserved,especiallyourpatientscoveredunderaMedicarearrangement(MSSPorMA).TheMDwillreporttoVicePresident,ClinicalIntegrationandPopulationHealthwithsharedaccountabilitytoDirector,CDQI.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

EffectiveinfluencerforprimarycareclinicalandadministrativeleadershipthroughoutMSHStodriveVBCperformance,withaspecialfocusondrivingaccurateriskadjustment.

•MustserveasthePopulationHealthPracticeOptimizationLead(workingcollaborativelywithaPopulationHealthManager(PHM))for6-10highpriorityprimarycare/multispecialtypractices.

•Presentandfacilitatepodandpracticehealthmeetings.

•HelpadministertheValue-BasedcarebonusprogramforPCPs(IM,FPandGeriatrics)

CandidateRequirements:

  • MDorDOdegree,Internalmedicine,FamilymedicineorGeriatricsstrongpreferred,boardcertificationrequired.

Compensationrangefrom230K-260K(whenscaledto1FTE)(notincludingbonuses/incentivecompensationorbenefits)
