AR Director

Title: Director, Accounts Receivable

Location: Westchester County

Type: Hybrid (3 days in, 2 days at home)

Compensation: $1350k-$150k plus bonus

Experience: CPG experience highly preferred

Our client a fast-growing consumer products company with 20+ years of success and partnerships with major national retailers is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Director to lead their Order-to-Cash operations.

The Opportunity:

Own and optimize the entire OTC process while driving operational excellence, cash flow visibility, and financial discipline. You'll partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance leadership to ensure timely collections, effective credit management, and data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do:

• Lead end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes and establish strong financial controls
• Manage deductions, allowances, and customer dispute resolution
• Drive cash collection strategies and lead Credit Committee decision-making
• Implement system enhancements and process improvements for scalability
• Deliver actionable KPI reporting and lead month/quarter/year-end close activities
• Build and mentor a high-performing AR team with a culture of accountability

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• 15+ years progressive AR experience (Manager/Director level)
• CPG experience required ; DTC experience a plus
• Deep expertise in deduction management within CPG environments
• 7+ years leading and developing teams
• Strong ability to translate financial data into strategic insights
• Experience working with factoring arrangements is a plus
