Senior Director, Platform Product Management
PagerDuty seeks a senior product leader to drive the foundation of the PagerDuty Operations Cloud, defining platform strategy, roadmap and execution across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide product strategy and roadmap for core services (admin, authentication, security, notification, ingestion, app experience) and developer experience APIs & integrations.
- Build shared services and components to accelerate application feature delivery.
- Deliver APIs, developer tools and content to onboard apps and professional services onto the platform.
- Expand integration ecosystem through internal development and partner collaborations.
- Partner with infrastructure and security teams to meet reliability, scalability and compliance objectives.
- Drive project prioritization based on customer value, compliance, developer velocity and cost.
- Foster a high‑performing product management team through coaching, empowerment and accountability.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, partners and industry analysts.
Basic Qualifications
- 6‑10+ years in technical product management for an enterprise SaaS company, preferably with platform experience.
- Experience building, coaching and leading high‑performing teams of 5+ PMs.
- Strong knowledge of integration architecture, patterns and platforms.
- Technical background enabling collaboration with engineering.
- Experience designing APIs based on RESTful principles and exploring third‑party APIs.
- Excellent collaboration skills across engineering, product, sales and marketing.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Self‑motivated user of AI productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field; MBA a plus.
- Practical experience as a software developer.
Location & Remotely
Remote, with preference for candidates located near one of PagerDuty’s hubs: San Francisco, Atlanta, or Toronto.
Compensation
Base salary range: $200,000 – $337,000 USD. Potential for bonus, commission, equity and other benefits.
