National food media company looking for a Circulation Director to manage all of the day to day details of digital membership including:
Responsibilities
- Managing all renewals including advance renewals, automatic renewals, regular positive option conversion and renewals, and trial offer conversions
- Managing gift membership programs, both new and renewal.
- Handling all schedules related to renewals, billing, etc.
- Constant management of all data including renewal rates, response rates, file size, conversion rates, etc. and providing weekly reporting.
- Supervising Omeda, our digital data company, for both day to day and long-term projects.
- Managing all membership promotion activities involving our own in-house email marketing.
- Supervising our in-house Klaviyo file including new adds, unsubscribes, etc.
- Updating our membership model monthly including Budgets, Annual reforecasts, and 5 Year Plans.
- Managing cash projections for all membership revenue: (Weekly, Monthly, Annual) plus reconciliation of forecast to actual.
- Making sure that all CCs are cleaned and updated before being charged.
- Managing the mailing of our bimonthly magazine including print orders and issue mailings.
- Working with other Milk Street staff to create a circulation dashboard that is updated weekly.
- Working with accounting to make sure that we receive the cash that was projected.
- Other Vendor Management: Vantiv, Postal Lettershop, Kable Product Fulfillment (Books), USPS, Telephone Answering Service.
- Customer Service: Oversee Omeda Customer Service
- Manage the Omeda Customer Database.
- Oversee the creation of and performance of Popups and Paywalls
- Handling the postal statement of ownership.
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance – Privacy, FTC, State Regulations for Online and Recurring Sales
- Managing membership upgrades.
Salary range is $85k to $115k based on experience. Job can be handled offsite with occasional trips to Boston. Benefit package will be shared with final candidates.
