Customer Marketing is a cornerstone capability for Inspire, driving value for the company and its franchisees. The role is powered by a robust MarTech stack and foundational data products that support strategic planning, campaign execution, customer-facing applications, offers, analytics, and reporting – the backbone of how we understand and engage with our customers.

As the Director of Product – Customer Growth and Data Platforms, you will define the strategy and vision for the customer and marketing data product ecosystem. You will own the full product lifecycle across data platform products, analytics solutions, and key MarTech tools, translating strategy into a well‑prioritized roadmap that aligns with business needs. The position works closely with Marketing, Analytics, Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Digital Experience teams, emphasizing cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑impact solutions that enable personalization, loyalty growth, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Responsibilities

  • Product strategy: Develop and manage customer and marketing data product strategy, set measurable goals and acceptance criteria, own business cases and budget adherence, and evaluate market analysis to inform product direction.
  • Roadmap planning and prioritization: Translate strategy into a clear roadmap of capabilities and initiatives, manage team alignment using Agile principles, and apply rigorous prioritization to deliver high‑value items on schedule.
  • Leadership and mentorship: Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of Product Managers and Analysts, develop team OKRs, monitor progress, and drive accountability through relevant metrics.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: Build consensus and execute across product lifecycle stages, provide progress updates to stakeholders, and guide product design while managing dependencies and integrations across the enterprise.
  • Vendor management: Manage vendor relationships, contracts, requirements, deliverables, and economics.
  • Innovation & emerging technologies: Evaluate and incubate GenAI, Agentic AI, and Reinforcement Learning applications for content automation, journey optimization, and intelligent decisioning.

Education And Experience Qualifications

  • Minimum 4‑year degree and/or Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of product management experience working on data platforms or related technology solutions
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a team leader and manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

  • 10+ years of progressive product management experience, with 3+ years in a Director or senior leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of the MarTech stack, including platforms and data activation tools (e.g., data warehouse, CDP, ESP, OMS, personalization platforms, CMS)
  • Track record of delivering measurable impact across CRM, personalization, or loyalty programs
  • Strong understanding of customer data, lifecycle marketing, and campaign orchestration workflows
  • Proven track record of coaching and developing high‑performing product teams and influencing across engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Strong business acumen, experience building business cases, and translating data into strategy
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, data‑driven decision making, and the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and executive presentation skills
