Position
Administrator – Medical Director (Physician Administrator 3) – responsible for three juvenile correctional facilities. Base office in downtown Columbus, Ohio, with travel to facilities and regional locations as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Development of policy and procedure for all medical services.
- Formulation of recommendations and plans to improve delivery and quality of integrated medical services.
- Advising DYS Superintendents and other officials on relevant medical services for the youth.
- On‑call 24/7 for medical advice/crisis.
- Assistance with development and assurance of implementation of health care programs for DYS youth.
- Evaluation of medical care delivered to youth through the quality assurance program to identify opportunities for improvement.
Licensing and Requirements
- License to practice medicine as issued by State Medical Board pursuant to Sections & of Revised Code.
- Valid Driver’s License.
