Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $72.00/hr

Our client, a luxury jewelry brand, is seeking an Ecommerce Director to join their team on a temporary 5-6 month basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage our US e-commerce website. Work closely with the internal teams and serve as a point of contact for creative and marketing agencies and web developers. Lead team of creatives (photographers, models, and copywriter) from planning to on-time completion of quality deliverables.
  • Responsible for all day-to-day e-commerce operations on Shopify Plus-hosted site, including photography and product uploads, merchandising, marketing, and asset and inventory planning.
  • Manage site content updates in terms of planning, prioritization, and execution of all site content changes (including product photography and descriptions), site creative (homepage, category banners, etc), retailer & event info and blog content. Review and edit all content flowing to the website.
  • Produce monthly e-commerce photoshoots, including logistics, selection of jewelry, model casting, styling, and photo selection and editing.
  • Develop and plan monthly marketing calendar, including scheduling all aspects of creation and delivery while integrating data from sales, retail, and production, and leading monthly planning meetings to review proposed content and merchandising suggestions.
  • Produce twice-weekly email marketing newsletters and manage all aspects including product selection, copy, and layout and design.
  • Generate daily and monthly reports tracking sales and KPIs using Google Analytics and Shopify. Analyze data to optimize site performance.
  • Work closely with operations and client services to oversee the end-to-end user and customer experience for website customers, including order processing, fulfillment, and customer service to ensure efficient and professional customer relations, and maintain all online and offline direct-to-consumer policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with retail and merchandising teams to determine best product assortment for the website and achieve sales goals.
  • Work closely with social media, digital agency, and copywriter to ensure continuity in messaging across all channels and coordinated organic and paid marketing efforts.
  • 3-5 years of digital/e-commerce experience including content management. Fashion/luxury experience a must.
  • Working knowledge of web development process, e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus), content management tools, and technologies.
  • Email/CRM management experience (preferably in Klaviyo).
  • A strong eye for merchandising and creative.
  • Google and Shopify Analytics experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to wear many hats, creatively problem solve, and prioritize workload.

Qualifications
