Haven Home Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team in our Boca Raton, FL office. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse with strong, proven home health supervisory experience to support our clinical operations and ensure exceptional patient care.
Position Overview The ADON will work closely under the guidance of the Director of Nursing and will play a key role in overseeing day‑to‑day clinical operations. This position requires excellent leadership skills, outstanding communication, and the ability to manage and support a multidisciplinary home health team.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical oversight and support to home health staff, ensuring high‑quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards
Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical and operational management
Supervise, mentor, and support field clinicians, ensuring timely documentation and adherence to agency policies
Participate in QAPI activities and ensure continuous quality improvement
Support OASIS review, RCD processes, and clinical documentation accuracy
Assist with onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of clinical staff
Collaborate with internal departments to support smooth scheduling, case management, and workflow processes
Requirements
Active RN license in the state of Florida
Minimum 2 years of strong, direct supervisory home health experience (required to be considered)
Proven experience managing clinical staff both operationally and clinically
Strong knowledge of OASIS, QAPI, and RCD (required)
Excellent communication, leadership, and team‑building skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
