Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Finance Director to lead the strategic and operational backbone of Edwards and the Edwards Lifesciences Foundation’s global health and community impact initiatives. This leader will manage a high-performing team, ensuring resources are deployed effectively, outcomes are measured with rigor, and insights are transformed into narratives that inspire action. As we prepare for an ambitious strategy expansion, this role will be central to amplifying Edwards’ impact worldwide and shaping how our story is told. How you’ll make an impact:

Direct all corporate and foundation finances, including budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and accounting for approximately $20 million in global charitable contributions. Oversee internal teams and external vendors (accounting and audit firms) executing donations of funds, Edwards medical technologies, and in‑kind gifts. Ensure accurate accounting of charitable donations and expenses, and deliver clear internal management and external financial reporting. Lead the development and oversight of annual operating plan to guide execution of our global health and community impact strategy. Oversee the annual financial audit of our foundation. Impact Measurement and Reporting

Lead impact measurement and reporting, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights. Validate partner-reported outcomes and aggregate results across global partners to deliver a clear, comprehensive view of Edwards’ impact. Ensure impact reporting is transparent, rigorous, and strategically aligned, reinforcing Edwards’ reputation for ethical giving and demonstrating accountability to stakeholders. Collaborate with communications-focused team members to integrate data into storytelling that resonates with stakeholders and inspires engagement. Develop and maintain a clear, compelling narrative about Edwards’ global health and community impact strategy, ensuring alignment across internal and external communications. Present impact results and strategic updates to the c‑suite, foundation board, and external audiences with clarity and influence. Operations Excellence

Lead operational systems supporting donations and impact reporting, including giving platforms, impact measurement tools, and business intelligence systems. Oversee medical technology donation initiatives in partnership with global supply chain and compliance teams. Drive process improvements and change‑management initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and impact delivery. Ensure all giving activities adhere to the highest standards of ethics and compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. What you’ll need (Required):

Bachelor's Degree in related field with previous related work experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria. What else we look for (Preferred):

A minimum of ten years related experience, including: finance, data analytics, corporate social responsibility, accounting, and/or foundation management. Detailed oriented, meticulously organized, and committed to excellence. Strong communications skills and ability to clarify and simplify complex topics. Comfortable presenting to c‑suite and foundation board of directors. Emotional intelligence, strong cultural sensitivity, and passion for helping others. Be a self‑starting, collaborative leader able to work in a fast‑paced, global environment, managing multiple initiatives and shifting priorities, as needed. Ability to build trust and thrive in a global, in‑person, high‑relationship culture, with comfort and experience working with people of all levels, from c‑suite to beneficiaries of giving efforts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, as well as business intelligence and analytics software. Experience with grant‑making systems (i.e. CyberGrants). Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance‑based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families. For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $141,000 to $200,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
