Summary The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead all sales and marketing initiatives for Park Hyatt St. Kitts, driving revenue growth and brand positioning for this luxury Caribbean destination. This role provides strategic leadership and direct oversight of the on-property event sales team while maintaining responsibility for corporate, group, and leisure market development. This remote position requires regular travel to St. Kitts for team leadership and client engagement, as well as frequent sales trips to key feeder markets.
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive luxury hotel sales leadership experience, with at least 3 years at Director or Senior Sales Manager level
Proven experience leading and developing high‑performing sales teams, preferably in a remote or multi‑property capacity
Demonstrated success in event and catering sales within luxury hotel environments
Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and developing high‑value accounts in the luxury segment
Expert knowledge of luxury group, corporate, leisure, MICE, and social events markets
Strong command of revenue management principles and sales forecasting
Proficiency with hotel property management systems (OPERA preferred) and CRM platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead remote teams effectively while maintaining strong on‑property presence
Valid passport and ability to travel 40-50% of the time
Flexibility to work across time zones as needed
Preferred:
Advanced degree (MBA or relevant master’s degree)
Experience with Park Hyatt, Hyatt, or comparable ultra‑luxury hotel brands
Established relationships within luxury travel advisor networks, corporate travel management companies, high‑end event planners, and destination wedding specialists
Proficiency in a second language (Spanish or French preferred)
Destination marketing experience, particularly in Caribbean luxury markets
Experience managing geographically distributed sales teams
Certified Hospitality Sales Professional (CHSP) or similar credentials
Expertise in luxury wedding and social events market

Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
