Our client, a leading player in the beauty and lifestyle industry, is seeking a Content & Social Media Specialist to join their team. As a Content & Social Media Specialist, you will be part of the Marketing Department supporting the Brand Development team. The ideal candidate will have creativity, strategic thinking, and cultural awareness which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Content & Social Media Specialist

Location: Hoboken, NJ (hybrid)

Pay Range: $30 to $47 per hour W-2
Duration: 6 month contract

What's the Job?

• Lead the development and execution of a content strategy that aligns with the global brand direction while resonating deeply with local cultural nuances and beauty trends.
• Oversee the end-to-end content creation process, from ideation and planning to execution and optimisation, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and strategy.
• Manage relationships with local social-first content agencies, providing clear briefs and ensuring high-quality, brand-consistent output.
• Leverage marketing technology, including Gen AI, to enhance content creation and engagement strategies.
• Continuously analyze content performance metrics, derive actionable insights, and adapt strategies to optimize engagement, reach, and ROI.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors Degree
• 3+ years experience in similar role
• Proven experience in leading creative content teams or projects, ideally within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, local culture, and beauty trends, with experience as a social media content creator preferred.
• Deep knowledge of beauty products, ingredients, and industry terminology across makeup, skincare, and haircare.
• Experience exploring and implementing new content creation technologies, including AI tools.
• Ability to develop data-driven content strategies, with a focus on performance analytics and optimization.
